Service Description
Service Duration: 2-3 working days Who it’s for: All pilots looking to ensure their gear is safe, compliant, and airworthy. Service Overview: Just like your car, your paraglider needs regular check-ups to stay safe and performing at its best. Our WOF (Warrant of Fitness) Service is a comprehensive inspection of your glider and essential flying equipment to give you peace of mind before your next flight. What We Check: Canopy Inspection: Line symmetry, porosity, fabric condition, risers, stitching, and general wear Harness & Reserve: Harness integrity, buckles, webbing, reserve container, and deployment handle Lines & Risers: Line condition, trims, riser wear, and speed system setup General Safety Check: Overall airworthiness, porosity, signs of damage, UV wear, or aging Flight Readiness Review: We’ll also help you assess whether your setup is appropriate for your skill level and goals Why It Matters: Small issues can become big risks in the air. A WOF check helps catch problems early, ensures your gear is compliant with safety standards, and supports a culture of responsibility in flying. This is especially important after a season of heavy use, before competitions, or when buying/selling gear. Cancellation Policy
Our Warrant of Fitness (WOF) inspection ensures your paraglider is airworthy and meets NZHGPA safety standards. This service includes a full visual check of your wing, risers, lines, and hardware. Key Information: Turnaround time: 1–2 working days. Cancellations: 50% fee applies for cancellations made within 24 hours of your booking. Additional work: If your glider requires a line trim or repairs, we’ll contact you with a quote before proceeding. While booking your wing WOF, it’s also a great time to consider getting your reserve repack and harness WOF done—keeping your full setup dialled and ready to fly. Flying with a current WOF is essential for your safety and NZHGPA insurance compliance.
