Duration: 1 Full Day Level: Advanced pilots only Prerequisites: Current NZHGPA Speed Wing Rating and recent flying experience Course Overview: Designed for experienced speed flyers ready to push their skills to the next level, the Advanced Speed Flying course focuses on mastering proximity flying—the art of carving fast, precise turns close to terrain and slopes with full control and confidence. This intensive one-day course challenges you to refine your technique, build razor-sharp awareness, and develop the ability to fly dynamic lines with speed and style while maintaining safety margins. Under expert instruction, you’ll explore advanced wing control, line management, and terrain reading skills essential for this thrilling and technical discipline.
